Asteroid Chariklo Has Rings: Images of a Space Rock Oddity (Gallery)
The rings of Saturn are among the crown jewels of our solar system, but it turns out that asteroids can have rings of their own, too.

Something Just Destroyed This Asteroid And We Don't Know What It Was
Astronomers have watched baffled as a mysterious force breaks up an asteroid in deep space.
Asteroid P/2013 R3, which is located in the Solar System's main asteroid belt, broke up between 29 October 2013 and 14 January 2014.
The images of the collapse were captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, and look just like a comet when it breaks up on approach to the Sun.
The strange thing is that in this case there is no apparent reason why the asteroid has broken up.

100 foot space rock flies between the Earth and moon
Asteroid 2014 DX110 was captured by Gianluca Masi of the Virtual Telescope Project (virtualtelescope.eu). Its closest approach is ~217,000 miles away from Earth on March 5th, 2014.

NASA Finds New Asteroid Headed in Our Direction
A NASA spacecraft has spotted a “potentially hazardous” asteroid nearly half a mile wide barreling in the general direction of Earth.
The asteroid, named “2013 YP139″, is very dark, 0.4 miles across, and could come almost as close to the Earth as our moon, based on current projections. The rock has earned NASA’s “potentially hazardous” distinction due to its size and projected flight path.
But there’s no need to call Bruce Willis and the rest of the team from “Armageddon” just yet. The asteroid is still 27 million miles away from Earth, and won’t get here for another hundred years at least.
